Table Rock Lake was noted as one of the Top 10 Bass Getaways by Bassmaster Magazine.  The James River Arm of Table Rock Lake is a prime bass fishing area.  That is why many tournaments are held here.

The "Wednesday Amateur Buddy Bass Tournament" is a weekly membership tournament for all amateur fishermen. One time membership fee of $10 per person. All person prior to fishing their first tournament must sign a membership and liability release form. Entry fee is $50 per boat and a $1 per boat for marina maintenance. Big bass side pot of $10 per team. All teams must fish 5 tournaments to qualify for the fish off. Starting time is 7am, weigh in is at 2pm. There is a 4 bass limit. Our "Sunday Open Buddy Bass Tournament" is your typical amateur bass tournament open to all tournament fishermen. All persons must sign a membership and liablity release form prior to fishing when they enter their first tournament. All teams or individuals must fish 4 tournaments to qualify for the fish off and the fish cannot be used as one of the four. Entry fee: $50 per boat. Stone County Friday Night Buddy Bass: Tournament starts April 15th, 2016 with the season ending with the fish off on September 16th, 2016. Sign up and take off will be from the west side of Cape Fair Marina - last dock just inside the buoy line. Take off is at 7:00pm and weigh in at 1:30am. Champion Boat Owners Tournament: No 2016 date received yet. From 7am till 3pm at Cape Fair Marina. Campion Boats or Stratos Elites ONLY. $50 per boat (2 man team) 100% payback. $10 Big Bass (optional) 100% payback. $5 any other fish, (1) fish most lbs (optional) 100% payback. $1 fee for use of marina (mandatory). On October 9th there will be an all you can eat catfish dinner at Flat Creek Resorts for $10.99. Flat Creek Resort is also offering room rates of $39 per night for the TOC tournament. Koppie's on the Lake will have breakfast available the morning of the tournament starting at 5am. They will also have lunches, snacks, and drinks available for after the tournament.
