Table Rock Lake was noted as one of the Top 10 Bass Getaways by Bassmaster Magazine. The James River Arm of Table Rock Lake is a prime bass fishing area. That is why many tournaments are held here.
The "Wednesday Amateur Buddy Bass Tournament" is our weekly tournament for all amateur fishermen, and starts back up on March 6th, 2013. Take off is at 7:00am and weigh in is at 2:30pm. Entry fee: $40 per boat. This tournament is now a membership club under Cape Fair Marina Bass Club. Membership is $5.00 for fishermen over 55 years or are handicapped, and $10.00 for all fishermen under that age. Circuit, Semi-Pro, and Pro bass fishermen who have earned more than $3,000 in one fiscal year from money tournaments including prizes of value will not be eligible to fish amateur contests. One person entry is acceptable, but full entry fee is required. 4 fish limit. The tournament will pay one place for every three boats entered. Fish Off will be June 26th, 2013. Teams or individuals must fish 6 tournaments (not counting the Fish Off) to qualify for the Fish Off. This will be big stringer pay out only! Side pots will be available for big bass and big stringer at $5 per pot (no big bass pay-out main pot).
Our "Sunday Amateur Buddy Bass Tournament" is your typical amateur bass tournament open to all tournament fishermen. This tournament starts back up March 3rd, 2013, and will run through June 30th, 2013 - which is the Fish Off. Hours: 7:00am till 2:30pm weigh in. This is a 5 bass limit tournament with a 1 lb. penalty for every dead fish weighed in per boat. Entry fee: $40 per team. One person can fish as a team. The tournament will pay one place for every four boats entered. Registration will be accepted on the day of each tournament up until 6:50am. This will be big stringer pay outs only! Side pots will be available for big bass and big stringer at $10 per pot (no big bass pay-out main pot). This is now a membership club under Cape Fair Marina. Club membership is $10 per person.

Stone County Buddy Bass: starts April 26th, 2013
Crane Creek Bassmasters. On Saturday nights. This is a weekly tournament and ends in September. Entry fee: $35. Start at 7:00pm, weigh in at 1:30am.
Reeds Spring Project Graduation Buddy Bass Tournament: March 2, 2013. Tournament takes off at 7:00am, weigh in is at 3:00pm. Entry fee is $40 per boat, 60% payback paying one in every four boats entered up to ten places. Optional Big Bass $10 with 100% payback. Stringer weight only payback in main event. Early sign ups will be accepted at Cape Fair Marina, Reeds Spring High School and from the tournament president Amanda Rogers and her project volunteers. Come be a part of the project to keep our teens safe on an important night of their lives!! Spoonbill Tournament: April 13 & 14, 2013. This is a 2 day tournament hosted by the Cape Fair Chamber. Take off and weigh in will be held at Flat Creek Resort dock. This is a buddy tournament open to all tournament fishermen. 100% payback at the end of the second day weigh in totals. Payback based on one place for every four boats with a max. of top 10 places splitting 100% of all entries. Entry fee is $100 per boat team. Take off will start any time after 12:01am on Saturday April 13th and weigh in will be at 3:00pm. The second day will start any time after 12:01am on Sunday April 14th and weigh in will be at 3:00pm. The total final weight will determine the standing on Sunday's weigh in. Registration will be accepted on or prior to 11:45pm on Friday April 12th.
