Table Rock Lake was noted as one of the Top 10 Bass Getaways by Bassmaster Magazine. The James River Arm of Table Rock Lake is a prime bass fishing area. That is why many tournaments are held here.
The “Wednesday Amateur Buddy Bass Tournament” is a weekly membership tournament for all amateur fishermen. Spring 2017 tournament dates: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, and the 24th is the fish off. One time membership fee of $10 per person. All person prior to fishing their first tournament must sign a membership and liability release form. Entry fee is $50 per boat and a $1 per boat for marina maintenance. Big bass side pot of $10 per team. All teams must fish 5 tournaments to qualify for the fish off. Starting time is 7am, weigh in is at 2pm. There is a 4 bass limit. Stone County Bassmasters Friday Night Buddy Bass Tournament. Tournaments start April 14th, 2017 with the season ending fish off September 15th, 2017. Take off will be at 7pm, and weigh in at 1:30am. Entry fee is $35 per two man team. One time membership fee of $15 per person. Two side pots. Must fish 9 tournaments to be eligible to fish the fish off. Sign up and take off will be from Cape Fair Marina’s H dock (last dock just inside the buoy line) and weigh in will be on B dock by the gas pumps. MO State Eagles Presidents’ Buddy Bass Tournament for MO RMHC (Missouri Ronald McDonald House Charity). Saturday: May 13th, 2017 from 7am till 3pm. Take off and weigh in will be on B dock by the store. Entry: $100 per 2-person team. Payback: 70%. First place for every 5 teams entered. Optional: Big Bass 1st – $10 – 80% payback.
